A surface full of natural character with brown heart and sapwood; partly wavy grain; contrastingcolour variations are a valued feature. Knotholes and seasoning shakes are allowed – they are a valued feature and if necessary professionally filled. The colour treatment gives this floor a warm honey-coloured look. The contrasting black filled knots are a valued feature.
